The Bookstore exists to serve our students, employees, and business associates and to do so fairly, with integrity and concern for their needs.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Cerro Coso College Bookstore is to provide a convenient and efficient source for purchases, at competitive prices, of books - whether or not required, school supplies, equipment and materials, and other services and merchandise related to campus life for the students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of CCCC. The overriding goal of the Bookstore is to make a significant contribution to the intellectual and service needs of the entire Cerro Coso College community.

- The Book Nook has systems in place to accept campus specific payment methods: such as scholarship funds and financial aid specifically for students of Cerro Coso.
- A wide variety of payment methods - cash; checks; credit cards - Visa, MasterCard, and Discover; and Department of Rehabilitation and local EOPS charge accounts are accepted.
- Customized textbook bundles are often only available at the College Book Nook.
- Lower shipping fees…when pricing your books remember to include the shipping costs. Our shipping fees are often much less than our competitors charge.
Tips for Buying Books
- Shop early for textbooks once you have registered for classes. You will avoid long lines and have a better selection of money-saving used books.
- Shelf tags show book requirements exactly as requested by your instructor.
- If you change classes or occasionally purchase the wrong book, we will gladly refund your money.
- Make note of textbook return deadlines attached to your cash register receipts, or ask the cashier.
- Receipts are required for all refunds or exchanges, books must be in original condition.
- When a book is listed optional, we recommend you wait and go to class before purchasing
- Even if the advertised price of a book is less expensive somewhere else, don't forget to consider shipping costs and delivery time.
The CCCC Bookstore accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Identification is required and must match the name on the card. We do not take second party cards, no exceptions. We do accept Credit Card payments over the phone.
